Care & Maintenance Guide

Keep your DuraKwik stone looking its best with minimal effort. This guide outlines recommended cleaning practices, inspection tips, and maintenance steps to help preserve the appearance and performance of your stone products for years to come.

DuraKwik Stones are made with water resistant high density polyurethane foam and coated with UV resistant acrylic paint. They are built to withstand normal weathering. They are generally self cleaned after normal rainfalls and no additional maintenance is needed.

Cleaning

  1. Using airbrush to brush off the areas where dirt/dust are present
  2. Wash with tap water using a garden hose
  3. If needed, soft-bristled brush can be use.
  4. Air drying is sufficient or air brush off the water residue on the panels

Maintaining

  1. Examine the panels annually for chipped paints or damages that might have occurred.
  2. Apply touch up paint following the touchup paint procedure.

Caution

  1. Use gentle force when washing/brushing the panels to best preserve the protective coating
  2. Avoid using cleaners.  If grease is present, please make low concentration of cleaning solution and test it on small area first.
